This acoustic guitar gave fans of the legendary Eric Clapton the best memories of their lives. This guitar can be traced back from World War II as it is one of the first 113 Martin 000-42 to ever be made. Clapton used this guitar during many of his concerts in his music career.
The guitar was sold during an auction to raise money for Clapton’s Crossroads charity in 2004. The guitar was sold for $791,500 and just think about how much the guitar is priced today.
The owner lent the 000-42 to different music museums like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum in Cleveland and the Metropolitan of Modern Art Museum in the big apple, New York City.
